"Alright, Apollo. I'm here, don't go spreading any plagues." The Messenger God said. He had arrived on Olympus, in his full Godly glory, instead of his more human form. And still frustrated that he had to cut his time short with Y/n. "What is it you needed?"

"It's not what I need." Said Apollo. "Father is quite irritable, because a certain messenger has been slacking off. I can't stand hearing him go on about it anymore, Hermes!"

"Now you know how we feel whenever you get overly dramatic." Hermes teases. Apollo rolled his eyes. "I suggest you hurry along." Hermes groaned. "Ugh, but I was enjoying my day off! Why couldn't he have Iris tend to whatever it is he needs?"

"Because you are his messenger Hermes. Not Iris. Also...Hera wouldn't let him summon her." Apollo tells him. "The sooner you go the sooner you can get back to whatever it was you were doing...What were you doing, exactly?"

"I made a new friend." Hermes said with a smirk. "Oh, I'm guessing they're a mortal?" Asked Apollo. "You disguised yourself, didn't you? You know how humans now would react to us."

As of the present day, most of humanity has lost touch with the many Gods of their world. And have deemed any tales or interpretations of them as "myth". Needless to say, it would be a but of a shock for Hermes to reveal himself as a God to Y/n.

"Yes, yes. I made sure to, don't worry. Now, if you'll excuse me..." Hermes took off in a flash, eager to get this job done and over with. Unfortunately Hermes would be forced to stay longer than he would have liked. It wouldn't be until later that night would he finally finish his piled up work.

He felt no need to return to Earth now, seeing as Y/n had already turned in for the night. So he hung back home on Olympus. Thankfully, he'd have some company to keep him from getting too bored.

"Hermes! Mister speed himself!" A slurred voice caught the messenger's attention. Hermes turned to see the God of wine and festivity walking his way. "Dionysus." He greeted him. "How have you been?"

"Sober, too sober for my liking!" Dionysus scoffed. Though, in reality, the God was never really "sober". Just less drunk than normal. "How come you haven't stopped by to party man?"

Hermes shrugged. "I've had my eye on a mortal. She's captured my attention, and I've finally worked up the nerve to speak with her." He answers. Dionysus hummed. "Understandable. I've had my share of walking amongst humans. Mortals sure do know how to let loose! Speaking of...what are you doing right now?"

"Not a damn thing." Hermes smirked. And so, the rest of the night was filled with the two Gods drinking until their hearts content. A perc about being a divine being, hangovers were nonexistent. As well as alcohol poisoning. So when Hermes was given his tasks the next day, he was able to carry out every job normally.

Hermes was doing his daily routes when he heard his phone buzz. He paused mid-run and reached into the satchel at his hip. Unlike a normal satchel, this particular one was enchanted. Infinite amount of space to carry almost anything and everything, and yet, light as a feather.

It would appear to be empty as well, to the untrained eye. Though, all Hermes would need to do, is reach inside and picture in his mind whatever it was he needed.

He did just that, and pulled out his phone from the satchel's "void". His face brightened at the sight of Y/n's name atop the notification.

Y/n: Hey, Ermis! Are you doing anything today?

Hermes responded, maybe a bit too quickly.

Ermis: Just making a few deliveries at the moment. But I should be free this evening. Why do you ask?

Y/n: Oh sorry! I didn't mean to distract you from work!

Ermis: No worries. Come on, you're leaving me in suspense darling! Did you perhaps...want to ask me on a date?

Y/n: Well...maybe just to hang out? If you want to...

Hermes chuckled to himself at Y/n's bashfulness. If he didn't know any better, he'd say she had a little crush on him.

Ermis: Of course, darling. How about around 7? Sound good?

Y/n: Sounds good to me! I'll see you then?

Ermis: You bet~

Hermes pocked his phone and hurried to finish off the last of his deliveries. Then he swiftly made his way to his older brother, Apollo. The Sun God was a bit surprised to see his brother, and so exciteful...

"Hermes, what brings you b-" Apollo didn't get to finish his sentence before Hermes began speaking. "How do you swoon a mortal? Like, I mean, quickly. But also like, in a not creepy or obvious way."

Apollo rose an eyebrow. "Are you...asking me for dating advice? You've bed plenty of people before."

"I know but, I don't want to jump right into that. Not yet anyway." Hermes tells his brother. "I want to romance this one. I'd like to see where it goes. You should see her, brother! She's just adorable! And she's really into us, like, all of us! She's a bit of a mythology nerd, and just so cute!"

"So, you're looking for a long term relationship then?" Asked Apollo. "Well, I suggest getting to know her better. You've only seen her, what? A few times at the most? What do you know about this woman? Other than her being "mythology nerd" that is."

"Uh...she told me some things about her." Said Hermes. "She's into mythology. She's a librarian. And...oh, she's an only child. Her parents and elderly dog live in another city...and that's it."

Apollo rolled his eyes. "You are helpless in the romance department, dear brother."

"Rich, coming from you." Hermes muttered.

"I heard that, you little-" Again, Apollo was interrupted by Hermes. "Come on! I really like her, Apollo! Just tell me how to sweep her off her feet! She asked me to hang out with her tonight! I need to know what to do and say!"

"Alright!" Apollo sighed. "Well, first thing's first. Do you plan on telling her about yourself yet?" He asked. Hermes shrugged. "Well...I can't imagine her reaction would be anything but tame."

"An honest relationship last longer than dishonest ones, you know?" Apollo tells him. "Easy for you to say, Hyacinthus already knows you're a God." Hermes sighed. "I could tell her, but what would she think after? Huh? Prophet?"

"I am not using my gift of prophecy on something like this." Apollo said firmly. "Look, for now, get to know her better. Maybe you can gauge how she would feel about the real you." He goes on. "But more than that, show her you care. Treat her as if she were divinity incarnate. That there would be no one before or after who could ever compare to her. That her beauty-"

"Apollo." Hermes muttered.

"Right, well." Apollo clears his throat. "You get the point. Now, off you go. And good luck, it seems you'll need it."

Y/n was currently having an internal conflict with herself. Mostly about seeing Ermis tonight. She really did like him, but she still couldn't help but worry. Before Ermis, Y/n was fairly content with being alone.

But now that Ermis was apart of her life, she didn't want to mess anything up and potentially ruin their friendship. Ermis didn't seem like the type to be scared off easily. She really did believe that Ermis liked her too. Still, Y/n absolutely did not want to take any risks.

Thankfully, Y/n wouldn't have to stew in her worry for much longer as there was a knock at her front door. She took a breath and smoothed out her dress before answering. There stood Ermis, dressed rather handsomely.

"Hi." Y/n smiled gently. Ermis returned the grin. "Hey. So, where did you want to go?" He asks her. "Do you drink? There's a bar a few blocks away from here." Said Y/n. "It's never super crowded, and it's a pretty nice spot."

"That sounds lovely darling. I'll drive us there." Ermis said. "Are you ready?" Y/n nods and walks out after locking her door, then follows him to his car.

Ermis opens the passenger door for Y/n, she thanks him before getting in. Ermis joins at her side in the driver's seat. "You don't mind the top down do you? I promise I won't drive too fast."

"I don't mind." Y/n shakes her head. "Do you normally drive fast?" She asked. "Well, I actually use to partake in street racing a few years ago." Ermis chuckles. "Other than that, I drive normally."

"Just as long as you don't get into any races while I'm still in the car." Y/n laughs. Ermis laughs as well as he starts up the car. "No promises." He said with a wink before driving off.

The wind gently woosh past Y/n as the car went. It was a warm summer night, but the wind gave a slight chill. But Y/n didn't mind it, nor did she pay much attention, as her focus was on the stars above. With the car's top down, she got a much better view of the starry night sky.

Eventually they made it to the bar, small groups of people were hanging around in and outside, chatting and laughing while having a drink. Y/n and Ermis walked inside and found an empty space at the bar. From there, they would drink and talk.

"So Y/n, how does the librarian life suit you? Does it pay well?" Ermis asked her. Y/n shrugs. "I say it does. I mean, I can't complain. I like it, and the people who come and go are fairly decent too. I never really have any bad encounters with them. It's nice and quiet, which is good for me. I never do well in intense or frantic settings." She tells him.

"It'd have to pay well for me to work somewhere like that." Ermis jokes. "I couldn't handle all that quiet. I think I'd fall asleep on my first day." Y/n chuckles. "Well, how about you? Do you like being a delivery man?" She asked.

"It's what I was made for." Ermis shrugs. "I've been doing it for a while now, so, it feels like second nature." Y/n hums. "You must be really passionate about your work."

"Sure." Ermis smirks. "That's one way of putting it." The two would continue to talk, and Ermis was able to get to know Y/n a bit better. He was learning her likes, favorite foods, favorite color, favorite movies and shows, music, animals, ect.

As well as her dislikes, phobias, textures, ect. And as they talked, he was beginning to understand what kind of person she was.

Timid, but not fearful. Kind, but not a doormat. Trusting, but cautious. Understanding, caring, and curious.

Beautiful, though, that goes without saying.

In turn, Y/n was getting to know Ermis better. He was a charming, funny, down to earth kind of person. A bit of a flirt, and cocky, but not to an annoying degree. He was much smarter than he lead on. Sometimes he spoke as if he were much older and wiser than he was.

And Y/n found that strangely alluring. She wanted to know more about him. She wanted to become closer with him.

"Hey! Ermis, my man! Is that you?"

Ermis jolted slightly at the sudden disruption, he turned to see another man approaching. He was taller than Ermis, dark hair that fell slightly past his shoulders. And he seemed to be a bit tipsy...

"Oh, hey...Dion." Ermis chuckled awkwardly. "I didn't know you'd be here." Dion laughed. "Yeah? Come on, man. You know I hit up every spot like this. So far, this one is much better than the last bar I was at." He then looked to Y/n. "Ohhh, is this your new lady friend?"

Y/n's cheeks grew warm, before she could deny it, Ermis did for her. "She is my friend, yes." Dion smirked. "Right, right. So, who might you be?" He asked.

"Y/n, nice to meet you." Y/n said with a small smile. "I think Ermis mentioned you once. You're his brother, right?"

"I am, well, half-brother. But his brother nonetheless. Hey, he hasn't be saying anything embarrassing about me now has he?" Dion asked. "I might have to teach him a lesson if he has." He said, playfully elbowing Ermis.

Y/n became less tense, she shook her head with a laugh. "No, nothing like that." Dion crossed his arms. "Well, good. He might be my older brother, but I can still whoop his butt."

"Ahem." Ermis cut in. "Dion. Is anyone else here with you?" He asked the taller man. "Nah, just me tonight. Though, I could hit up Golden Boy?"

"Absolutely not." Ermis sighed. Dion laughed as he pat Ermis on the back. "Alright, I'll get out of your hair. Y/n, nice meeting you." He says, nodding his head her way. "You two have a nice night. Don't do anything I wouldn't do!" He said before leaving the two.

"Sorry about that." Ermis apologized. "Don't worry, he seemed nice." Y/n giggled. "Must be fun at parties huh?"

"You have no idea." Ermis rolls his eyes playfully.

Ermis drove Y/n home later, she was a tad bit tipsy, though Ermis was still sober. Alcohol like that never had much impact on someone like him or his other divine family. Even if he had drunk an ungodly amount, he'd still be fairly aware and upright.

"You feeling alright? Not gonna puke?" Ermis asked teasingly as he and Y/n reached her front door. "Please, Ermis. I can handle a few drinks." She tells him.

"Yeah? Maybe I'll ask if Dion wants to join us next time. We'll see how much you can handle then." Ermis smirked. "For sure, he seems like fun." Said Y/n. "I had a really nice time tonight Ermis. I feel like anytime with you is a fun time."

"Right back at you, Y/n." Said Ermis softly. "I always look forward to the next time I get to see you." Something about the way he said it, made Y/n's heart flutter, and she couldn't rid the smile on her face.

"Ever the charmer, Ermis." She says, causing him to laugh. "I've been known to be." Ermis takes her hand in his, bringing it to his lips. "Until next time?" Y/n nods her head. "Of course. Good night, Ermis."

"Good night, Y/n." After their goodbyes, Ermis returned to his car. Before he drove off he sighed heavily, and kept his smile. "A good night indeed." He said before driving away.

Tonight he decided to stay at his home on Earth. He didn't want to return to Olympus a blushing fool, for his fellow Gods to tease and mock.

As he entered and took his phone from his pocket and called his brother, Apollo.

"Hello?" Apollo answered.

"Hey, just got back from seeing Y/n." Hermes tells him. "Oh? And how did it go?" Asked Apollo. "Don't tell me you blew it already."

"For your information, it went rather well. Aside from Dionysus interrupting, that is..." Hermes muttered. "I still haven't told her about...the whole being a God thing. But, maybe she wouldn't mind?"

"You seem unsure." Said Apollo. "I am." Hermes confirmed. "She's wonderful, Apollo. I don't think she'd hate me for it or anything like that but...I don't want to scare her off and ruin the good thing we have."

"She'll have to know eventually, Hermes. What if you two become serious?"

Hermes sighed and raked a hand through his hair. "I know, I know. If only this happened during our golden age. I would have no fear coming to her as I am then. But now..."

"I suppose you'll have to take that chance Hermes. You can't keep this a secret from her forever. Because unlike you, she won't have forever to be blissfully unaware." Apollo tells him. "I wish you luck, brother."

"Thanks, night Apollo." Hermes said before hanging up.

This was new. Gods rarely ever felt fear, of anything and everything. What being could ever strike fear into the heart of a God? Hermes never feared for anything. But now...now he felt it, that fear. And it was such terrible feeling. The fear of not knowing.

The fear of loosing someone dear to him.

A: This year, I couldn’t switch out my wardrobe with the seasons, so I made items I want to wear right now. I also didn’t get a chance to change my interior decor, so I created things that can easily change the atmosphere and vibe of a home. Additionally, I wanted to capture "my current self," in a tangible way, so I completely shifted my mindset during the design process. It ended up being meaningful for me personally, and I felt happiness in being able to preserve it in this form. This was my 11th production overall. I’ll share more about it in a post later! 📮

A: Looking back, I’ve somehow managed to climb to a position where I don’t have to interact with such people. Even so, when I must engage with people in those environments, I try to respect them, thinking they probably have many sides I don’t know about. But I still keep a certain distance and avoid getting too close. Also, to put it simply, I don’t have the time to think about people I don’t get along with.

13) Q: I’m moving at a snail’s pace, but once I’m mentally ready, I will definitely go to another live show.

Lord it's been a while since I opened my asks. Apologies for taking a while to answer, I actually wanted to provide some sort of visual but I was struggling the entire time ahehehe TvT

Nevertheless, here they are!

Very much unrefined and unfinished

So! Unfortunately there's not a lot I can share about them because I haven't really fleshed their lore out just yet. Hell the name I have for them is literally the name of an old OC.

BUT

This is Jedi General Sage Asrin of the Coruscant Guard! At the start of the war, they spent a great deal of their time stationed at the temple in Coruscant and would only get dispatched to assist other generals and their battalions before being permanently stationed to Coruscant and getting assigned to the CG by Palpatine himself.

They've basically got this burnt out gifted kid thing going on where, as a youngling, they showed great promise and was recognized for it but then fell off slightly in their later years. Dear old Palps sensed that potential and decided to steadily cultivate that. Of course he'd have to get close to them somehow, so what better way than to assign them as the head of the mp force that literally works right under him?

Of course that works as well as one might expect. After serving with the Guard for a good while, something happens (not exactly sure what yet) and they suddenly disappear. Fox once again becomes the head of the Guard. Things keep on without them, until eventually, after Order 66 has been enacted and Vader jumps into that ship to confront Fox on the matter of being shot at by his own men, their presence is made known once again just as he was about to snap his neck.

The only reason he didn't go through with it was because they stated that he shouldn't, and because they had captured the Jedi master he's been after. So yeah...

They're a Sith now.

Where it goes from there, I do not quite know but the reunion between them and the Guard would be very interesting to see, especially given their current state.

SOME MORE ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• Used to be such an avid stickler for the rules. Not so much anymore during their time as General, but they still found them to be of great importance. (helps with figuring out how they could twist them to their advantage)

• That was what led to their disdain for young Anakin Skywalker. A disdain they never quite grew out of but it simmered down over the years, overshadowed by their begrudging respect for the man and his feats.

• Used to enjoy making art a lot as a kid. They still do. They just can't do it anymore.

• When the Guard found out, some shinies went out of their way to involve them in painting their armor. A part of them healed.

• It took about two and a half months before Fox warmed up to them. The added half was because of the time they caught him smoking and effectively asked that he quit the habit entirely.

• Cue something heavy happening that causes him to light one up again and instead of reprimanding him, they ask if they could take a drag. Cue the most intense coughing fit of their life.

• Takes advantage of their connection with the Chancellor to allocate resources to the Guard and any other battalion that manages to request them directly.

• Doesn't often drink caf as it makes them sleepy.

• Will sometimes steal paperwork right off of Fox's desk to help lighten his load.

• Sneaks off during the middle of the day to feed a family of tookas living in an alleyway.

• Goes to 79's when they can as it gives them a chance to catch up with some of the battalions they've worked with who were on shore leave.

• Gossip whore.

• Thorn and Thire are their kapwa marites (kapwa: 'fellow', marites: Filipino slang that refers to a person who likes to gossip)

• Horrible driver. Maker forbid you let them take the wheel. Grizzer threw up once. Hound vowed never again to be in the same vehicle as them after that.

Everything you post (theories,art,informations,jokes) is in my opinion so interesting,creative and detailed. I don't really send asks but I really had to tell you that I appreciate all of this,not what you simply post,but create too! I believe after Alien Stage will end,I will miss your posts about it but I'll have a good time remembering the days before a round was dropped,where we all assembled there to scream in fear (AVENGERS... One thing that makes me more conscious about ''IvanTill tragedy'' is that... Ivan loved the idea,the meaning,he had of Till,because he never got to be seen by him,got to express himself and be something for Till,which means getting to really enter Till's world. So I think at some point he asked himself ''What do I love'',which led him to the circle of reasons we deduced from their backstories,reason of the words chosen in the official art,where he says ''shallow feelings''... but they weren't shallow at all... And I think this is so sad,that he could not feel the depth in it,or understand his emotions... It's so sad we don't have a glimpse of Till's pov... I'm really happy that you think of me so nicely, even if my posts and speculations are off the mark... or if the things I make are truthfully not very good. Even if they're mediocre at best, I still put a lot of my heart into them. I've always had a lot of things to say, but I never really opened myself to speaking about them until earlier this year. It feels really nice and comforting to share everything and be responded to with the same level of enthusiasm. I keep repeating myself when giving my thanks, but it's just because I will always be grateful to everyone I've talked to so far. That will never change. Thank you for taking the time to send me an ask! It really means everything to me. Let's focus on enjoying ourselves and anticipating what's to come! Even though Alien Stage is bound to end, we're still only halfway there!

I genuinely would like to thank you for your support. I'm sorry if I seem like a bit of a downer, or if I seem less active lately? Less present or something like that. There's a lot that I've been going through lately (to add on to that my damn house flooded. yikes. currently staying at a friend's right now), and it honestly worries me to think about a lot of things, not to mention all the asks that I haven't been able to answer yet... I'm so sorry. I'll get to them eventually, I promise! They mean a lot to me and I want to do them justice with an answer, but some days I just can't find it in me to put thoughts into words.... once again, I'm so sorry. I don't want to make it seem as though they're a burden or anything, though! It's genuinely the highlight of my day to receive one.

Your perspective on Ivan and Till is worded so wonderfully. It truly is tragic that Ivan views his feelings as shallow, especially when in reality they're so complex and all-encompassing. Someone who loves so fervently and desperately (obssessively) actively denies themselves something as simple as the validation of their own feelings. Ivan viewed so lowly of himself until the very end, believing that he was never able to mean anything to Till (You don't care about me is such a devastating line). Ivan's emotions are complicated on purpose, his character was designed with the intention to confuse. It's stated that only Ivan himself can truly know what he's feeling, but even then he is an unreliable narrator and is too deep in the throes of self-loathing to allow himself any mercy. Constantly at war with himself, even just moments before his demise.

Ivan is described to have the most flawed personality out of his peers ("twisted"). The fact that he hones in on this aspect of himself to the point where he cannot see himself as anything of worth to the people he cares about is so profoundly sad. A flaw within itself, the perfect recipe for self-sabotage.

Till's perspective on Ivan is desperately needed, even if it wouldn't make a difference to the present circumstances. When speaking of Ivan's feelings for Till, VIVINOS mentions that one cannot simply move on from such deep-seated and long lasting emotions in just a short time. Surely Till would share this sentiment, right? Constantly overwhelmed by his own heart, wouldn't Till mull over the feelings that drove Ivan to sacrifice? Wouldn't he dwell on the impact that Ivan has made on his person? What form does Ivan take in Till's memory? One cannot move on from feelings like this so easily, and although Till didn't feel for Ivan in the same way, it's undeniable that he at least felt something.

So far (iirc), the only official statement of Till's feelings towards Ivan is that Till found him strange (and vice-versa, but Ivan was fascinated and attracted to Till's "strangeness" while it seems that Till was... less so...). Although it makes sense that Till is so protective of his true feelings, it would be nice for his thoughts on Ivan to be expanded upon, just for some semblance of closure.

The action blockbuster "Formed Police Unit", which brings together actors such as Huang Jingyu, Wang Yibo, Zhong Chuxi, Ou Hao and other actors, was released on May 1st this year and topped the box office in the first two days.

Before the screening, the producer Liu Weiqiang and director Li Dachao of "Formed Police Unit" shared the behind-the-scenes story of the film with the Entertainment Management Studio . During the exchange, they talked many times about the need to "shoot with care" and "correctly" when making movies today. Movies need to be awe-inspiring.”

Liu Weiqiang revealed that the film took 75 days to shoot and was 10 days overdue. The investors also fully supported it because they wanted to provide the best results for the audience. The following ten short stories let us know more about "Formed Police Unit".

ONE

The story theme of "Formed Police Unit" was proposed by director Li Dachao. In 2010 , Li Dachao saw a piece of news about a peacekeeping police officer returning to China after his death. The urn was covered with the national flag and the police standing on both sides saluted solemnly. Li Dachao was thinking about it at that time. I was moved, " At that time, I was thinking about what peacekeeping was, and later I learned that they are such a noble and selfless profession, all dedicated to contributing to the local people. "

FOUR

Based on the longitude and latitude, landforms, vegetation, weather and climate characteristics of the mission area in the movie, the crew found a filming location that could simulate the African environment and built an entire city, including slums, streets, squares, seaside stilt houses, etc.

Well, well, well. Would you look at what the cat dragged in. (it's me, Lou!)

The time is here, and oh man, do I have a lot to say! Ever since this post was posted on my personal tumblr, on the fifth of may, I have been working like a machine on all things OUROBOROS. I had originally planned for this to just be a progress report/ announcement on what I will be working on now that I am free of the shackles of work, but, somehow, I managed to finish all bullet points, and more. So, let's get into it!

First off, the title.  Ouroboros becomes all capitalized OUROBOROS. Idk. It's neat. Next!

Art. Whew. I didn't think I could draw like this anymore- drawing has been more of a struggle than writing has been, forever, always- it was something I really strived to become good at, for a time. And I gave up. Only to pick it up again when I started ouro, and ever since I released that pressure, something just clicked and I have been churning out art like never before. I don't know if this is a fluke, a stroke of luck or if all that hard work I once did slaving away with menial art practice… but I'm grateful nonetheless. (A note on official RO art: I lost my ipad pencil somewhere on the lawn, lmao. I haven't been able to get a new one yet, so there is a slight delay here.) I am hoping that I get to make some commissions too, in the near future. Visit the forum to see some works in progress (amongst them, Yor's RO portrait!)

Onto the hellscape that is coding! I have been growing more proficient with CSS and html with the help of the ones that run so that we can walk; I have studied and researched and tested and tinkered until my eyes crossed, finding my way into this medium with the incredible guidance of the giants of whose shoulders I stand on. I will talk about this in detail on a later date. So I think it's finally time to reveal that yes, I am working on a twine version of ouro. I will develop it in tandem with choicescript; the porting over from one to the other isn't the herculean task I thought it would be.

Why am I doing this? Because I need to have a save system. I am continuing to write the whole alpha draft in choicescript in hopes that CoG will announce the ability to have a native save/checkpoint system, but if that doesn’t happen, I can’t publish this story without one. Unfortunately, I am not willing to code in a savesystem in choicescript myself, because this will be a large game, with far too many variables for that to be sustainable. Trust me, no one is more disappointed by that fact than me. If it comes to the point that twine publishing will be what I do, I will set my sights on writing a smaller game for hosted games.

Onto writing:

The best news out of this whole bunch is that I have worked so hard on editing and writing, that in the past month I have all but finished a two chapter update! I have a chunk of about 5-6 thousand words left to write, and I am going to buckle down over the weekend to see it through. I wanted to have it done so badly for today, but I lost three days of writing time last week due to still being weighed down with work. I hope it isn’t too disappointing to have to wait until monday for the demo update! I am going to post a link to an as-I-write updated demo on Patreon and Discord, if you want to see the ugly face of raw wip drafts. Otherwise I will post the demo update here on Monday with a comprehensive post!

And now!  the biggest news is… from now on, I am writing full time!

This is what I have been tossing and turning about every night ever since Easter. It started as a silly idea while talking to some friends and family about how I was looking for a change in career. And then, little by little, that idea whittled down to a plan, carefully carved by my partner and his whispers of a happy future, a finished dream project, and something to be proud of until the day I wither and die. 

Somewhere between then and now, I grasped a tiny sliver of bravery and held on for dear life. 

I quit my job as a teacher, and instead of accepting a cushy office job, I started behaving as if OUROBOROS and writing was my work (for all the moments I could afford). I have researched and tried different methods from week to week, and although I was still tired from work, I felt like I was onto something that could build into a sustainable future. 

I have no doubts that this journey will be bumpy and long, but sometimes all it takes is to take that first step, and do it with determination. It might all crash and burn and fail in a spectacular way, or with a whimper, but then I will know that I have tried. I will know that I gave myself the chance to be who I want to be, work on what means so much to me. 

And that’s it. I think the hardest part of formulating this post (I’ve written about 50 versions of it!) is getting to the point; the kernel of what makes it so special to me. So, in my heart of hearts, what I'm trying to tell you is that I'm gonna give it my all- and while I know the road to having a sustainable career in writing is rough and ever winding, I do know for sure that I am ready for a challenge, to pour my heart and soul into it until the day I rush out of the office screaming IT IS DONE. IT IS DOOOOONE!!!

Hello everyone! Welcome to this month’s devlog!

If you just stumbled upon this, I am Adrienne, also known as insertdisc5! I’m the developer, writer, artist, main programmer, etc of the game. The game being In Stars and Time, a timeloop RPG, which is also the next and final game in the START AGAIN series, following START AGAIN: a prologue (available here!).  You can find out more about In Stars and Time here!!!

Was this ever a fear for you in making START AGAIN, or In Stars and Time? Did you take any special precaution to keep these games within a scope you could handle, and did you learn tricks from START AGAIN that carried over to ISAT when in came to keeping things manageable? Thank you!! ✨

I had no idea that was a piece of advice given, but yep, that makes a lot of sense! Since I didn’t know, I went in blissfully aware, teehee.

I will say that I am familiar with working on big projects from working on comics, and with seeing big webcomic artists always mention to never start with your magnum opus… And I could tell ISAT had the potential to be way bigger than I imagined, which is why I decided to start with creating the prologue to get used to RPGMaker as well as making games. Kind of a pilot of sorts!

Again, thanks to comics, I know to keep my scope pretty small, because even if you keep it small it WILL balloon into something way bigger than you thought. Just for the prologue, I imagined it’d be a 20mn game, and it’s easily a 2-3h one! Keep your scope small!!!

As for tricks, when I catch myself thinking “wow what if I added this cool thing”, I try to always keep in mind those two things: 1. How long will it take to implement (including bug testing), and 2. Does it add something important to the game. I know we always want to add a fishing game, or a fun minigame, but do you Need It. Does it add something substantial to the story, to the Themes. Or are you just adding it because you like fishing games. Which is a valid reason, but also, maybe just make a fishing game instead. You are not the Yakuza series!!!! You are a small indie gamedev!!!! Think about you in 4 months who has to fix all the fishing game bugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s so weird!!! The game has been done for so long!!! I’m very glad I asked some friends to playtest the game, so I could at least get some feedback before the game is out… In some ways it feels like the game will be done twice: once back when I finished making the game, and once when the game actually comes out. It’s just a very strange experience. Sometimes people tell me they’re excited to find out more about this story beat, or about this character, and a part of me is like… Wait, haven't you played the game? Oh, yeah, it’s not actually out. Guess you’ll find out later.

EDIT: My god. I just checked on my private devlog for when I completed the Alpha of ISAT. It was in August of last year (I lay down on the floor and look at the ceiling) (I still had to finish all the illustrations so really the game was Done Donezo in October but still…)

SO MANY THINGS. Here are some of them: support when it comes to porting/marketing/social media/localization, feedback on the game and how to make it better, community guidance, testing support, QA/internal testing… The game couldn’t be the way it is without them.

For more small details, I have a weekly meeting with my producer, Dora! We talk about the game and how everything is going. A couple months back, I also was checking in with the internal QA team fairly often to fix any remaining bugs. They also helped me find ISAT’s additional programmer, Isabella, and she is a godsend because coding is hard. They also take care of communicating with press, finding more opportunities to showcase the game in conventions, talking with the localization/porting teams… I am probably forgetting a thousand little things they did to help out!!! THEY’RE SO GOOD OK

Absolutely! I just went with the obvious. Rock is physical damage, defense focused, Scissors is swords, attack focused, and Paper is magic, mind focused. It was fun to develop a spell system around those! I’m excited for people to find out more about Craft…

I’m so glad you streamed it with friends… I hope you had a good fun time…

And for sure! Isabeau and Mirabelle were pretty set from the get go (himbo and shy wallflower), but Odile started as more of a gentle teacher type, even if I very quickly went the snarky old lady route. Siffrin and Bonnie were harder to pin down– I wasn’t sure how to portray Siffrin’s despair in the prologue, and started showing them more overtly depressed, but I thought it’d be Very Yummy to have them show a happy facade to their friends. And then, for ISAT, I had to figure out what a non-depressed Siffrin would be like, for the first couple acts of the game before the despair sets in. As for Bonnie, I had a lot of trouble figuring out what they’d be like, what kind of kid they were, what their relationship with everyone else would be like, and then I thought about what their past would be like and then their characterization was set in stone. Sometimes you need to figure out One Thing to unlock a character’s brain. I’m very excited for everyone to find out more about each character in ISAT!

It could be stuff you liked so much it inspired, something you found frustrating because you felt an itch to do it differently, or something that made you realise humans make things and you could be one of them.

I found a lot of indie games inspiring, but I think Umineko might’ve been the one that made me go… Oh, anyone can just make a massive video game narrative. And you can make it very simple, with kinda goofy sprites, and still manage to make an incredibly touching story!

As for frustrating games that lit a fire under me, I think I’d say in general, I found issue with the classic trope of the “main character helps people and doesn’t get anything back”. What often happens in some games is that you help NPCs with their problems, sometimes helping them with very intense, complicated problems! For a very long time! And, in exchange, you get… A cool item? A nice new skill? And that’s it?

I know this might be complicated to implement on a narrative perspective, but I remember playing Persona 5, and your character just went through a very harrowing experience (like, oh, being INTERROGATED AND TORTURED BY THE POLICE) and you help your friends during social links, and they go “thanks for your help! Bye~” like WHAT ABOUT ME. WHAT ABOUT MY PROBLEMS. CAN YOU GIVE ME A HUG

So on a certain level, I wanted a game where instead of the characters around you having problems, the main character also has problems. And is subconsciously screaming “CAN YOU PLEASE NOTICE I HAVE PROBLEMS AND GIVE ME A HUG.” And hopefully, the characters notice. Winks

Hm. I do want to say I wrote most of the prologue/ISAT during the pandemic, and I felt very lonely and not supported. But then guess what. I told my friends about how I felt. And most of them told me they had no idea, and vowed to support me more. And now I’m closer to them. So the moral of this answer is, yeah, it’d be nice if people noticed, but also, you need to tell people when you’re feeling bad. LOOKS AT SIFFRIN

It’s interesting, the songs I listened to for the prologue are generally more heavy and frenetic, while the ones for ISAT are more hopeful… I made sure to listen to more lively songs for ISAT, since that’s the feeling I wanted to give off…

That’s all the questions I have! In other, non related ISAT news, I have started a new project and having a lot of fun. It’s a visual novel this time. I’m hoping to get some screenshots ready in the next few months, but also I’m taking it easy on this one. If it takes years with many breaks in between to get it done, it’s fine. What matters to me right now is the process!

"sob sob" Forgive me 🥺🥺🥺 My brain is smooth and I have only 3 brain cells left. This shouldn't have taken me so long to answer.

I think I decided to get serious with it when I got my drawing tablet. That was in the pandemic and since then I've been improving. before I would just make little doodles on exam papers or sometimes I would do little comics. One time I gave one of my comics to a friend so that they could borrow it and they never returned it. I remember I would make like 5 - 6 pages of a comic and then grapple them together. One time my cousin helped me digitalize one of them. I still have that comic (it's horrible). I always looked up to my cousin because she was really good at digital art and she was studying that. So now that I am following her same steps, she gives me tips and classes which we sometimes stream on younow. We have very similar interests and we get along really well. She is the only person in my family I get really well with. Also, my brother was a big part of why I decided to start drawing because he also drew but in traditional.

To answer the other question I'd say no, I never would have imagined I would be doing this and be actually good. I never thought of pursuing art as an actual career and studying it. But look at me now! Before art, I was more into video editing and today I still enjoy it, but now it has passed to be more of a hobby than something serious.

Okay, so you remember the characters I drew before? The boy is Anthony, and the car girl, oh shit, I still don't have a name for her. I need to come up with one.

So Anthony is part of a band with his friends (I still don't have names for them, damn it). So in the band there is Anthony, his childhood friend, his brother, his brother's girlfriend, and like two more unimportant people to the story (and by that, I mean I haven't developed them).

So they have a consert, and when they get there, Anthony's friend has a panic attack right before they get on the stage and runs from the building, and Anthony follows him. They decide to cancel the concert, and Anthony calls his mom to pick them up. But it was raining really hard, and while going, Anthony's mother crashes and dies. Just before, his mother gave him a pendant that contained a yellow gem.

Anthony now blames and has hatred for his friend. He isolates himself from everyone, and this has a big effect on the group. 2 years later, and Anthony still can't let it go yet, so in an effort to set things right, they all go on a camping trip. At night, they are all around a campfire, and they start talking and having fun, all but Anthony, who doesn't want to talk to anyone. Then his friend says something about his mom, Anthony gets angry, they have an argument, the argument turns into a fight, and Anthony breaks his friend's guitar in a flash of rage. Anthony realizes what he has done and runs into the woods. They all go after him. Anthony stumbles upon a big door made of rocks with a little hole in the middle to insert something. Anthony's pendant starts glowing, and he places the pendant in the hole that opens the door.

there is nothing but pich dark inside. In desperation, Anthony crosses the door without hesitation and keeps walking. It seems like it never ends until he sees stars all around him. All of different colors. He sees a light on the other side and starts running towards it. And gets to the light…

And thats all you are getting. Now that I am writing this, I realize it is very cringy oh god. This looks so much better in my head. I need to rework this a lot. Oh god this is so horrible. Well this might seem cringy because this is just surface level and i haven't talked about a lot of important things about characters and their personalities. I'll expand more of the story another time. I still need to talk about the cat girl, and there is a whole other world. It's a lot, it really is. This would be like the start of the story, and it is the only thing that I have completely planned out in my head.

Entropic Float in 2023: An Update!

 Happy New Year, everybody!

It's 2023 and I have a lot of plans! I'll start out by offering reminders that there's a survey to influence the contents of the Entropic Float DLC (Letters To A Beloved Ghost) and make sure that you get to see your favorite characters again, as well as a few pieces of official Entropic Float Merch available on my etsy store. There are stickers of the full cast, keychains of the protagonists and antagonist, and pin buttons of each standard ending- But if there's a particular piece of merchandise you'd want to see, feel free to contact me and let me know.

Entropic Float: Letters To A Beloved Ghost

As mentioned above, there's a survey to influence this DLC's content, but that doesn't mean I don't have plans for it! In fact, I already have a few of the side stories drafted. The DLC will be 5 USD or included in any pledge to the Entropic Float 2 Kickstarter. It will feature all new original art and music, and over 100k words of new content. By reading letters to you exploring unseen moments, past and present, you'll accumulate points toward meeting with somebody who's been hoping to meet you since long before you were invited to the clocktower. Not all letters will be required to finish the DLC's story, but all will be available.

Some side stories haven't yet been planned, as the survey is still open- But those that have been drafted include the pasts of Shinjiro Nozomi's friends, an oddly magical discovery at a small concert attended by Jasper Jasmine Jekyll, and a classic 'battle so we can become friends' between witches. Some will provide closure to doors left ajar in Entropic Float- Others will open up brand new doors for the sequels to shut- And others still will simply give you more time with the dear friends you made over the course of the game.

I plan to close the survey on 03/31/2023, and hope to have the DLC ready for release by the end of summer 2023.

Entropic Float 2: Land Of The Witch

I'm going to begin work in earnest on EF2 now that the new year has begun. I didn't 100% keep to my plan of not starting till the new year, but I managed to at least sort of take a break! I'm not going to be jumping right back into biweekly development updates, because this game has a lot more ground-up building to be done and I have a lot of other things to square away- I'd rather not post the same 'I got some of the point-and-click working the way I imagined' update too many times. I'll update once a month until development is progressing strongly enough to share more.

But you'll be getting introduced to the cast of the game quite soon- In next month's update, most likely! Though character trailers will come a bit later down the line.

Entropic Float 2: Land Of The Witch is... A point and click adventure game focusing on the 'Pine Creek Anomaly'. One year after the resolution of the anomalous clocktower in the Black Rock Desert, Kanatsune Ame is assigned a similarly difficult case. A rural town in the Appalachian Mountains disappeared five years ago- And the Anomaly in its place has only recently signaled its presence by opening an invitation. What will the World Anomaly which stole the town of Pine Creek reveal?

I can't give a timeline on EF2's development quite yet, but I'm tentatively hoping to run a Kickstarter in summer 2023, so that pledges to the Kickstarter can be swiftly translated into the reward of the Letters To A Beloved Ghost DLC. Before running the Kickstarter, I hope to have a demo ready to play, so that I can put my best foot forward. After all, EF2 is going to be a point-and-click adventure, not just a visual novel- Though I do plan, for accessibility, to also offer a 'kinetic novel version' in which the events of the game are arranged into a semi-canon order of experience.

The demo will of course be free, and will cover from the beginning of the game through to the first open exploration area.

The full game will be priced at 15 USD. While Kickstarter reward tiers will be determined closer to its launch, pledges of 5 USD will include the Beloved Ghost DLC only, while pledges of 15 USD or more will include both the DLC and Entropic Float 2, essentially giving you the DLC for free if you pledge at 15 USD exactly. I wish I could offer EF2 for the same zero-dollar price point as the first game, but I hope that the increased production value will make up the difference!

Any Other Projects?

Well, I wouldn't put this category here if I didn't have some other stuff going on. I'm considering participating in a few gamejams with short and sweet VNs. I'm also doing the art for an RPG that a friend of mine is writing. And of course, I'm selling on etsy, taking commissions, and working a day job. The pleated dress with flounce sleeves fit you like a glove. You had made peace with the various shades of white since the wedding and knew that Harry liked to see you in that color too.

"Thank you, you're not too bad either, Styles."

You intimately suspected that Harry would always seem far beyond that "not bad" that came out as a euphemism from your mouth. He wore nothing but a pair of bell-bottom pants in a strong shade of blue and a soft vest printed with fluffy little sheep on a striped American collared shirt - in your opinion, no one could look better in farm animal clothing than Harry Styles and Princess Diana with her red "Black Sheep" sweater in the 1980s. In contrast, you knew your husband well enough to know that he was arrogant and knew exactly how hot he looked - you also made your thoughts clear enough when you kept him backstage beyond ten minutes in a rather heated kissing session.

"Are you anxious?" you asked curiously, remaining with downcast eyes fixed on the strokes that remained assiduous on your warm skin. "To read about how the whole internet dreams of fucking my wife?! Of course." Harry joked, leaning over to leave a small one on your cheek. "We agree on that, don't we? Although I'm a little nervous, I'm really interested to know all the crazy things they say about you. Everyone knows you're mine at the end of the day, that's enough."

At the end of the break, you and Harry made a silent agreement that you should be the first to pick up one of the scattered papers in the red pot. There were quite a significant amount of tweets, and as much as you were used to reading rather sordid things about your husband on the Internet, the excitement was there as if you were wading into uncharted territory.

"I would be a good girl all year round if Santa guaranteed me a threesome with Harry and Y/N Styles on Christmas Eve." You laughed, Harry staring at the camera with an expression close to the meme of the surprised Pikachu. "You guys are incredibly nasty, I love it."

"If that was the first one, I'm really worried about the next ones." Harry commented with a little corner smile, picking the next tweet out of the bucket. "I have an entire folder on Pinterest dedicated to Harry Styles' hands, and let me tell you why: those hands are art, and art needs to be recognized."

"What- Guys, you promised you wouldn't post my anonymous tweets here." You quipped with false reproach, laughing at your own stupid joke while everyone else in the studio did the same. "But I can't blame her, honestly." Shaking your shoulders, you opened another piece of paper. "Harry Styles finally confessed that he wrote Watermelon Sugar for Y/N!!!! Are you guys imagining the same thing as me?!!!!!! 🥵🍆💦"

"Exhausted emoji, eggplant emoji, and water emoji?" Harry frowned, staring at the tweet you held up. "I imagine you're in need of a vacation somewhere refreshing and you're craving a fruit that everyone eats like it's really a vegetable."

"That reminded me of that story-" You laughed, hiding your face on the table as Harry continued to offer a poker face to the camera, struggling not to keep up with you laughter. "I'm sorry, lovie, I have to share this with the rest of the world." You stated, wiping a few tears from the corner of your eyes. "Harry always wears those fancy suits to concerts, right?! Right! Turns out he looks really hot in some, like his ass molds perfectly into those tight pants and everything. I was home that night because I wasn't feeling well enough to face the big crowds, but I was still following everything on twitter. It was a concert in London, not so far from where we lived at the time, so it was obvious that he would come home after it was over. I follow some portals that do really fast updates of pictures, videos, etc; everything that happened at Harry's concert was on my timeline in a matter of seconds. When one of these profiles uploaded a picture of him with his back to the camera in a heavily accentuated black and white suit, I quickly sent him the image along with a peach emoji and then wrote "looks good tonight". He didn't reply to me until a few hours later, of course, but I obviously didn't expect a "ready for a Fifth Avenue peach salad for dinner?" and numerous cutlery emojis."

Harry rolled his eyes comically, indulging in laughter as did everyone else who occupied the backstage area.

"I'm against the eroticization of emojis." He said between uncompensated breaths, shaking his head negatively. "Let's go to the next ones, please, I'm already feeling exposed enough here."

"I like your old-fashioned spirit, baby." You assured him with a smile, laying on the sturdy shoulder hidden under the fluffy fabric.

Harry chuckled low, leaving a little kiss on the top of your head before selecting the next paper. The fans would die when that video aired, everyone was sure. You two easily forgot the cameras when you were side by side, and the public display of affection had never been a problem.

"My life mission is to look at someone the way Harry looks at Y/N and be reciprocated the way Y/N looks at Harry, then I could die happy." Harry read. "That was very good and healthy, thank you!" He smiled. "But don't settle for death in that case, please. Just make sure to keep that person around forever."

"Awn, we got so sweet now." You made a pout. "Thank you for sending us something so cute! I really hope you find the right person soon." Sending a kiss to the camera, you moved on to the next tweet. "I wouldn't want to get a golden ticket to visit Willy Wonka's factory, I would like to get a golden ticket to actively participate in Y/N and Harry Styles' Honeymoon.

"That was creative, so I will disregard the fact that you removed my last name from my wife's name." Harry joked.

Ah not really. Whatever time i have when im not working, id rather spend drawing either for fun or my commissions. Although i do love creepy and macabre stuff, im not a big fan of horror movies. A lot of them are more about either shocking viewers and being as gorey and torture porn-y as possible, which isn't really my thing. Tho there are some horror movies out there i quite liked, I prefer to watch compilation videos of ghosts caught on camera and stuff if im in the mood for something spooky.

The SGE movie's pretty good for someone like me who hasn't read the books. My brother and I actually had tons of fun until all the confusing qb(and the whole thing with Rafal and Sophie. Barf). Like, if the filmmakers knew Agatha and Sophie were sisters then why have them kiss on the lips?? Unless they plan on retconning that since i hear that was only revealed at a later book...

On September 11th, 2020, I posted this, a teaser for a 'faux Earthbound-inspired project' featuring four brightly colored silhouettes of its four main characters. The concept and characters were shrouded in mystery up until April 7th of the following year, where I posted yet another teaser in the form of an in-game screenshot, revealing the character of Lauren Henley and the project's placeholder title, Project 2000.

In that post, I mentioned that Project 2000 isn't the project's final name, and that I would be unveiling its true name later on down the line. The truth of the matter was that I could have gone and revealed the true name as early as... well, 2020 if I wanted to. But a lot of the project was still being figured out at that time (Including the designs of its main characters!), and I wanted to hold off on revealing anything more until I knew I was 100% ready to explain what this 'Project 2000' even is.

Now, nearing a year after I posted the initial first teaser, I feel as though it's about time to introduce a few more original characters of mine to this blog, and with that being said...

Let's talk about Override!

Shigesato Itoi's 1994 cult classic Earthbound (Known as MOTHER 2 in Japan) flopped due to misleading marketing when it came around to being released in the states, but its witty humor, nonstandard JRPG setting and its colorful visual presentation proved to be a hit to the American audience in due time.

This, of course, led to creators opting to shape games around a similar basis to Earthbound, whether its in terms of graphical style, humor, battle tactics, and much more. I think the most popular example when the phrase "Earthbound-Inspired RPG" comes to mind is undoubtedly Toby Fox's Undertale, which shared a lot of the same humor as its inspiration as well as a similar graphical style.

Some fans liked the MOTHER series so much that they wanted to take the franchise into their own hands and create the next installment after Shigesato Itoi stated that MOTHER 3 was the last game in the franchise, and MOTHER 4 began production by fans. Many Winter 2014s later, it was unsure if the game was still in production, though the project was officially rebranded as its own entity as Oddity in 2020.

Override is, essentially, my kind of Undertale/Oddity, mixing elements from Earthbound, MOTHER 3, the Y2K bug and the general 2000s aesthetic together into one. By that first part, I mean it's an Earthbound-Inspired RPG crafted by my own hand (Dating as far back as mid-2019); it, of course, isn't an actual game, but rather a collection of conceptual art pieces and faux in-game screenshots I've made detailing what it would look like as a real game (Like Mega Man Ultimate).

Oh, right, the plot! Bear in mind that a lot of the finer details of Override's story haven't quite been figured out yet, but I can say that I at least have enough to finally get around to talking about it.

Charles Feldman, CEO of Synergon Robotics, longs to spearhead a dystopian world with an invincible army of technologic law-enforcers, though finds it almost impossible to in his current time, the year 2095, where such technology is commonplace.

For years, he has meticulously shaped a plan where he, a team of subordinates and all the robo-security he could need would time travel back just before the year 2000, wherein he would corrupt all technology at that point with a 'Y2K Bug' and force the denizens of the world to live a lifestyle not unlike the events of the novel 1984, wherein humanity's every move is closely observed, and if someone steps out of line, they fall to the wrath of the Synergon Police.

His plan, for the most part, is successful. He travels back to the date November 18th, 1997 to have enough time to prepare for his eventual world-ruling plan on midnight, January 1st, 2000. The aforementioned Synergon police are armed with powerful devices called 'Psiometers', which are watch-like gadgets which connect to the user's neural network to unlock the powers of the mind.

Psiometers alongside other tech necessary for Feldman's ploy are transferred base-to-base in the middle of the night via drones, which are equipped with cameras and can hold up to twenty pounds of equipment. However, on the night of December 30th, 1999, a flaw in the wrap-up of Feldman's ultimate plan occurs, when a last minute drone delivery of two Psiometer units results in a crash.

The drone lands in the yard of the Henley residence. Nine and a half year old Lauren Henley overhears the crash and goes outside to investigate, finding the busted drone amidst the snow. After another brief malfunction, it shuts itself down, and Lauren, vowing to figure out its origins, drags it into the garage and goes back to bed...

December 31st, 1999. Lauren brings the Synergon drone to her neighbor's house, and shows it to her best friend, nine year old Casey Treverton. The two shortly discover the drone's contents, and Lauren instantly suspects there's more to the Synergon story. They ultimately are short on answers for the time being, and keep the whole thing a secret from their parents until later that night...

One minute until the new year. Casey and Lauren hurry to the downstairs of the Treverton residence to catch the ball drop for the new millennium. Whatever weirdness happened earlier is put on the backburner as the two flop down in front of the TV, eagerly counting down the seconds left of 1999.

"5... 4... 3... 2..."

Then, a nationwide power shortage. Nobody has any clue what's going on. Eventually, the TV flickers back on, and instead of the new year festivities they had been watching prior, the picture depicts a grizzled although finely dressed man in front of a white backdrop; Charles Feldman.

He states that his message is being broadcast across every television in the country, and reveals his lengthy plan to create a highly technical dystopian society overseen by Synergon Robotics, threatening to rewire any technology he pleases for the worst should anyone oppose him.

Casey and Lauren grimace at each other.

Three months pass. Not a lot has changed this early on in, though the citizens of Maywood are under close surveillance by various automatons to make sure nobody tries anything funny. Lauren decides that she has had enough of this 'Synergon Business' and asks Casey if he's interested in figuring out how the Psiometers work and using them against Synergon to ultimately take them down.

At first, Casey is unsure, true to his nervous personality. There isn't any rational way two children could lead to the downfall of an entity which has taken over the world, but Lauren is sure of their success, and with enough coercing the two embark on a mission to take back what's theirs. Who do they meet along the way? Just how deep does the Synergon plan run? And will they reign victorious? Only time will tell...

Well, now that we have the lengthy scene-setting out of the way, let's check out the good stuff; checking out the four heroes of Override which were teased last year! It's a good thing I chose to wait to show their designs off, because the silhouettes shown in the teaser weren't the same designs as what I have now. So, let's get right into it!

It may have taken much longer than I expected to show Override off, but at the very least that means I can now get around to posting/writing about what I've come up for it! I have a lot of Override-related content on the way, though I find that this is an excellent way to introduce its world! A LOT of work was put into this, so I hope you've enjoyed everything this post has to offer!
